Managers very polite and professional but workers are bad didn't get done a service i requested then called me a lier won't go back on that note don't know how people stay in business with people like that there smh
Booked an appointment online for an oil change at this New Castle, DE location. Printed out a coupon from their specific location's website for an oil change. Drove all the way to the location and when I walked in the door I was told they don't do oil changes and to go next door to Valvoline (which charges twice what I was going to pay) or go somewhere else. When I told them their site clearly states they perform oil changes (which it does), I was told I was wrong, which is a complete lie. I guess their motto is "the customer is always WRONG". If I could rate zero stars I would because they were absolutely no help and it's ridiculous a Meineke location decided they aren't going to do oil changes. What a waste of time for me and what a huge missed opportunity for the business, telling their customers to take their money elsewhere. Walked out the door, I'll never go there again and neither should you. Who knows what other simple jobs they just "don't do".
A whole bunch of criminals engaging in unethical practices to defraud customers. The owner is a rude & uncouth. Never go to this location, you're better off elsewhere.
Please stay away from this place!!!! I'm a merchant Mariner, currently working on Delaware on the river. I stopped here because I was having rough steering issues so I stopped here. I spoke to a black guy that had large ear piercing which seem pretty honest. After diagnosing my car he told me it was my rack and pinion. So I brought my own parts NEW from advance auto and had them do the labor. After a few hours the car was finished. The problem still exist!! The guy with the large ear ring(large hole in ear) told me to wait a few days it will get better. I waited 2 weeks the hard steering did not disappear so i went back. I spoke to the manager and he seem like he did not want to help me at all. After diagnosis my car he said it's my power steering pump so i went out like a DUMMY and brought my new parts to be installed. After installation problem still exist. Now im furious because I've paid these guys good money. So I went back to the manager and he pointed out something totally different and it was nothing he can do. I am unsatisfied with their service and unprofessional manager. I hope they treat their next customer better than me.
This week my Wife and I decided to take our Nissan Armada to this location to have a bad Master Cylinder replaced (Diagnosed at the Dealership) The vehicle had been having minor braking issues but was able to be driven. Meineke without hesitation replaced the Master Cylinder that I provided but for some mysterious reason were not able to get the brakes to work after they replaced the Master Cylinder. Without reason they explained that something else must be broken and no matter what they did to the brake system they couldn't get it to work right. On the way home the brakes barely worked (20%). Less than 24 hours later while my Wife was attempting to leave our home they locked up completely and she was unable to move the vehicle at all. I called the Meineke and explained that the brakes were completely locked and they had just worked on the vehicle, his response was, "Sounds like you have a problem, its not on us", my jaw dropped, never have I heard such a irresponsible statement. The location had just worked on my brakes and now they were locked less than 24 hours later. I requested that the location please at least bring the truck back to a drivable condition but he continually stressed that Meineke had nothing to do with the truck's brakes locking up. I asked for a supervisor or regional manager's contact information and he ignorantly stated to call 1-800-Meineke and proceeded to hang up the phone. I called the Lewis, DE location who were able to connect me directly with corporate in an instant where I lodged a complaint against the New Castle, DE store location. The customer service woman explained to me that since it was 1:00pm on Friday and due to the way complaints are processed I may not hear a call back until Wednesday the following week. Now my Wife's truck which carries around our 3 infant daughters is stuck in the driveway for the next week at a minimum while we await a response from Meineke representatives. I have attempted to gain contact information for the store's owners only to be told they do not have that information or cannot give it out. I stress, do not take you vehicle to this location, the Store Manager has no regard for fair business practices and most likely I am not the first to encounter such a safety risk after having my vehicle worked on at his store.
