Wow! Great coffee, great service, great food. We stopped by expecting to grab a cup of coffee and ended up ordering brunch (they serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch depending on time of day. Aesthetics are beautiful. Atmosphere ❤️. Highly recommend this spot for anyone heading to Old New Castle!
Love this place! I get the omelets. Their sausage is maple flavoured and delicious. Very filling. Staff is very sweet.
Cozy place, great back patio (weather permitting), food was delicious, and location was great, just a few blocks from the water. Service was very friendly, I'll definitely go back. Close to local college too!
Edit-the pics posted are from my second visit, which includes the ravioli, which the chef happily prepared my request to include crab meat. Delicious.
We had friends coming from out of town, and decided to try out the new restaurant, but we didn't have high expectations. We were surprised and delighted by our experience at Cafe New Castle. The service was superior from beginning to end. The cocktails were both clever and delicious. Dinner itself was sophisticated simplicity, extraordinarily well conceived, prepared and presented. Well done, Cafe New Castle! We will be back soon!
Sorry I didn't take pics, but wow it was delicious. It's a small, trendy place in historic New Castle with an outside eating area (as well) in the back. At our table we had turkey chili, cheese ravioli in an Alfredo sauce (forgot the dish name), and crab cakes. Excellent! For dessert my daughter picked oatmeal cookies that they served warm with a dollop of homemade whipped cream. The service is friendly. I'll go again.
