Great food and people
Not bad but I make and had better at African Restaurants in Philadelphia
5) portion sizes too small for price, very little of the cassava and tons of white rice which will pack on the pounds faster than you can blink.
Service is fast and friendly. Food is authentic African food but depending on how you were raised this might be hit-or-miss for you. I make cassava leaves all of the time and the ones that are purchased here are lacking four things for me.
4) I didn't taste any smoke fish which is also a staple in African cuisine.
3) mix meat does no include chicken or fish
Cozy spot for African food. Dine in or carry out. The food is good, but call ahead because they don't always have everything that is listed on the menu.
1) Very little to no palm oil
2) Very under seasoned but HOT
Years ago the food use to be top notch, I can say of that anymore. The price have gone sky high, and the service is ridiculously awful....Nice people though.
This place has gotten worse over the years. My husband still likes the food which is why I go but the service is really bad. We are not African but like African food. The faces were smiling when we discovered it 7years ago but now the girls working there are rude.
