When I arrived they were busy and they were all working so hard to help everyone. They all helped each other to get each person exactly what car they wanted and get them out and on their way quickly. I will be renting from this location in the future and I look forward to it.
We should always judge a service provider based on the quality of service and support it provides if we run into issues. Had extremely high opinion on enterprise until my last rental on dec 22nd 2017. Went on a road trip with friends and family this christmas weekend and got a large suv and full insurance coverage (incl roadside and pai). Travelling from delaware to our first stop in Geneva NY. Somewhere midway in our trip we realized the right rear tire pressure is low which came down further (24psi) by the time we reached Geneva. Called roadside assistance on 12/23 morning (11-11.30am est). They told none of the enterprise locations nearby are open to assist me. Best they can do is come down and put on the spare tire ( good for 50 miles) or i can take my car to the nearest sears auto center (60miles away) to have the tire replaced. Called sears only to hear from them they are super busy and has no slots available for tire change. Also if at all they had a slot, i have to pay for the tire upfront. They will not be able to bill enterprise. Now, we are stuck. Our trip plan took a major hit. Somehow we managed to return to delaware stopping every 30-40 miles to fill air in the tire. Enterprise billed $642 for car and full insurance. So our christmas weekend was well spent dealing with a flat tire and running pillar to post for having that fixed but in vain.
Overall, this was a positive experience. It would have been better if the vehicle i was renting was ready to go. In fact, it was in transit and i waited about 35 minutes for the vehicle. That delayed my departure time and the schedule for the rest of my plans. It was only 30 minutes, but I am not happy about it. The staff was very nice and apologetic. This is the second time I have rented from this location. I will certainly rent from them again. Overall, my complaint is minor league. Thanks!
The service was fine, including the pickup and drop off, The Dodge Caravan was clean and worked well. There was one major problem: the tires. The car had only 11K miles, but when I tried going up a steep driveway when it was wet and partially covered with leaves, the car's front wheel drive just spun. Even after the car had spun all the leaves backward, and I was on wet, inclined pavement, the wheels spun. I had to back down to a level area, get some momentum, and race up the driveway into the street. Enterprise was fine, but the Dodge Caravan can be a hazard on wet pavement.
I have rented cars, trucks and vans from Enterprise on S Dupont Hwy. I just won't go anywhere else. The rates are always been competitive but mostly, they DELIVER on the promises they make. There are no hidden fees. They are honest and professional. The manager even follows up to make sure everything is ok once you rent the vehicle. I can leave my own car on site while I'm renting one of their vehicles. This particular company and location is my "go to" for renting any kind of vehicle. I've tried other companies over the years and no one else delivers professional, fairly priced service consistently like Enterprise on S Dupont does. I have been using them for years and have never been disappointed. To the point now that I don't even waste my time looking elsewhere at this point because I know this company will deliver good service at a fair price with no hassle, no jacked up hidden fees.
