It was well worth the trip.
The Italian was definitely good but I was annoyed by the $10 minimum on payment with a card. I try to never carry cash and places like this are behind the times need to modernize
I’ve been a customer for over a year, new to the area. Overall the phone customer service as well as pick up is a huge deterrent for me returning. I have never once had a pleasant experience with either. It seems as if the woman who answers the phone has no time for proper customer service or to make me feel that I’m a customer that matters. The food is amazing and that is what keeps me coming back but for the sake of this incredible business a friendly voice or face would be a pleasant surprise. If your customer service matched your food this business would be above and beyond amazing. I’m not asking for special treatment but when you enter a place of business and the employee seems as if she has better things to do it’s very unappealing.
Great food, friendly staff and the best sandwiches in Delaware by far. Make sure you order early because they run out of rolls on a regular basis. That's the sign of a good sandwich shop. The roast pork supremo is my favorite and the wife loves the pastrami.
We heard from friends that this place made great sandwiches. My wife and I drove from Dover just for something to do, just to find out. We bother ordered an Italian sub and we were not disappointed. My wife ordered a small and I ordered a medium. My medium was 12 to 13" long and quite delicious.
I've been here a few times and the food has always been great. They have a pretty good lunch crowd so that should tell you something as well. They are practically right across the street from the high school so I'm sure they are also busy around 2:30 or 3:00 but the kids are not stopping to eat, it's mostly grab and go.
