If there was a rating for Negative 100 Stars...TODAY they would get it. I have worked in the Food & Beverage/Hospitality Field for over 13 yrs. I would NEVER have the audacity to speak to a guest, client, or customer in the way that I was spoken to today. No matter how much "in the weeds" one may be...how upset or stressed you may be...Composure is KEY!!!....
I had a negative experience with this place in the past, but they have vastly improved since then. Every time since, I have been met with friendly and helpful employees, who deliver quickly and go out of their way to meet even the most annoying demands.
This Papa John's location in New Castle near Route 141 and down the road from William Penn High School in New Castle, Delaware was fantastic. It was a clean and welcoming establishment. My sales clerk was friendly and efficient. My food was ready within 10 minutes and it was delicious. I recommend this location without any hesitation!
They have great pizza here with a lot of variety. The food is always fresh and the drivers always deliver my pizza pretty fast. When you walk into the store you can tell the place is very clean. The front end was remodeled about a year or so ago. The quality of the food is consistently good. Eat there once and you'll be back.
First time placing a delivery order from Papa John's located in Basin Road. I placed my order at 7:58 PM on a Friday. The email suggested the delivery time would be between 20-40 min after my order was placed. By 8:16 pm i heard a knock i though it was my uncle but to my surprise it was the delivery girl with my pizzas, I ordered 3 specialty pizzas and I was amazed at how fast my order was delivered. I will definitely order again from this location, the pizza was perfectly cooked, it was still hot and we enjoyed it, my family is a Dominos pizza fan but after having so many issues with them and my orders I decided to take my business elsewhere and I'm glad I did!
I called and asked for delivery and was told that they were not accepting delivery and was immediately hung up on. Wasn't even given the option of pick up. So, I called back and asked, "Why are they not accepting deliveries (so I can put an order in for pick-up)"....Didn't even get that far. Was told that they were behind (with attitude) and, I QUOTE, "...and because I SAID SO!" REALLY!!...For ALL HE KNEW, it could have been a corporate call checking on customer service. Lucky for him it wasn't. However, I WILL be contacting corporate and sending a formal e-mail about the incident. They will not have my business again. This incident took place around 4:45 - 5:00 pm on 12/30/2017. The person was whomever was answering the phone possibly an assistant manager or the manager.
