The farmers market is a great way to spend a warm day. The flea market has hundreds of vendors offering thousands of unique items. Prices are what you negotiate. The parking lot is huge. The market is easy to find from the highway.
My family and I love coming here when ever we come to Delaware. Always find great deals on one thing or another. I suggest you go on a Friday or Saturday when all the vendors are open inside and if you can on a sunny day for the best selection outside. When we come we always get pickles inside fried mini Donuts, K-Cup coffee for the house, toiletries and there are several good choices for Mexican food, Seafood, good old junk food like Heroes and oddly enough they also have several places to have Korean food. There is even have vegetarian Indian Food Spot. We change it up and try all the different places and usually enjoy our food and time spent.
Great place to go with your family. Small merchant sale their wares in this one big building. Many great deals to be found. On Friday and Saturdays the Amish people sale produce, meats and their delicious bake goods. Great place to shop and eat with the family on a Saturday.
There's a great range of goods available every week, the Amish section has delicious donuts, pretzels, pies, and candies along with fresh and high quality poultry, pork and beef. Alex's barbeque carries hard to find items like fresh duck. The fresh produce is incredibly affordable and there's two fresh fish stalls to choose from. Aside from the groceries, there's excellent prepared food restaurants, toy stores, clothing/accessories, and two dollar stores.
This is the best place to get produce in the area, in my opinion. You can get good quality fruit/veggies here at a reasonable price. The Amish section also has terrific meat, and their bacon is DIVINE. Downside is that it's only open 3 days a week, so it gets very busy, which makes getting around the place (and parking!) a challenge sometimes.
