Freezing waiting area. Rude customer service. The donuts were not fresh. Tasted one of the donuts when we got in the car and it had a funny taste as if it had a chemical taste to the glaze.
Worse experience ever in a store !!! I was so excited stoping at KK in Delaware coming back to CT from VA. When the employee asked me for my order I told him that I wasn’t ready yet so please give me a second. He wasn’t happy with that (saw it so clear in his face). Some of the donuts didn’t have the name so I asked for one and he answered in a very rude way so I taught ok let me do this fast. As soon as he finish the box he started walking to the register and asking at the same time if I want something else, when I said yes, I want another dozen, he looked at me so angry and said “why you didn’t tell me that at the beginning?” I said , I did tell you. But he didn’t let me finish, he continued talking saying You didn’t. So I said I apologized was a misunderstanding (because I wanted to finish with that uncomfortable situation), and started telling him what I want. But this guy really scares me when he hold his breath and with his hands cracked his neck twice. I was ready to RUN out of that store . The only thing that came to my mind was those shooting that are so “normal” today! That was a horrible experience . I feel bad for the people that have to deal with that person everyday .
Was on a road trip and saw the sign so I had to pull over for my favorite donut. Went in to get a donut and a cup of coffee, big mistake. I think this is one of the main places they make donuts to supply other places like stores and quick marts. Actually selling them retail is not their strong suit here. It was as if the employees could not be bothered even though there is a counter, etc like any other fast food place.

The donuts are amazing! We meant to take them with us on our travels but instead by the time we were in car we had to start enjoying them since the smell was overwhelmingly yummy! The store was clean including the bathroom. The only improvement needed to get a five star from us would be to help employees learn to smile and converse with customers in a friendly way. They were very efficient at their jobs but it's smiles and connections that will leave a more lasting impression.
